Godly Play

Godly Play is essentially a method of telling Bible stories rooted in the Montessori tradition.

A story is told, and the participants are then invited to ‘wonder’.

There are no ‘right’ answers, but the wondering invariably unlocks a deepened sense of spiritual awareness.

Usage

Godly Play is being used in churches and schools in across the country.

St Nicholas Cathedral is already recognised as a regional centre of excellence, offering training and resources as well as Godly Play itself.

There will be the opportunity to listen to Godly Play stories and then participate in the discussion afterwards. We will answer questions as to how Godly Play can be used to best effect and where to get resources to help you.
