The Council has the responsibility for monitoring and scrutinising the work done by the Chapter.
The Cathedral Council Members
The Dean is a member as part of his role.
Three members are elected by the Chapter, two by the congregation, one by the staff and two by the College of Canons.
A further eight are appointed by Chapter with the agreement of the Bishop.
The present Chairman of the Council is Graham Bell.
