The Lantern Singers is a choir for girls and boys from the age of 7 upwards under the dynamic leadership of Austin Gunn.
Activities
There is a real focus on fun, while the children learn to sing well and are introduced to a wide range of music from “We’re all going on a summer holiday” to “Away in a manger”!
The Lanterns give a concert every term and sometimes perform alongside their older siblings (the Cathedral Choir and the Cathedral Consort).
Membership
There is no audition, and membership of the choir is free. So, why not bring your son or daughter along and see what it’s like?
Where & When
The Choir meet at All Saints Gosforth on Saturday mornings at 10 am, for just a couple of hours, during school term time.
