The Cathedral relies on its volunteers to fulfil its mission of ministry and welcome to the people of Newcastle and to visitors. Everyone Is Welcome Volunteers are always welcome at St Nicholas, and we normally have plenty of jobs which need doing! These range from the Refectory and Shop, which need volunteers who can spare a regular day (or morning/afternoon in the Shop), to flower arranging, embroidery and welcoming visitors to the building.
